Repeat Prescriptions

We always need two full working days' notice in writing to produce your prescription. We do not accept telephone requests. Sometimes the doctor will need to see you to check your health before you get repeat medication.

If you have any queries regarding your medication or prescription, please speak to your doctor and not the reception staff. Please do not ask receptionists to issue or amend prescriptions, as they are not able to do so.

Ask your GP about Repeat Dispensing, to see if this can save you more time.  Please note this service is not suitable for all patients.

Online Prescriptions

You can now order your regular repeat medication online. Please ask at reception for a form to complete to get you set up. Once you have your login details click on the icon below to login.

Please note that you can only order those medications that have been issued to you on a repeat basis.

Your online request may be rejected if,

  1. the doctor needs to see you to review your medication;
  2. you try to order your medication too early;
  3. you have not had your medication for a long time;
  4. the doctor needs to see you for a health check.

So please check for any rejection message before attempting to collect your medication. You can add a message to your request, for example if you are going on holiday and need to order before your next prescription is due, or if you would like to ask for an item that you had before but is not on repeat. Again, please check that the prescription has not been rejected before you try to collect it from the practice or the pharmacy.
